RVI inspection of RENK gearbox

Our team conducted a borescope inspection of a 9600 kW RENK gearbox, driven by ywo MAN engines on one of Europe’s largest RoPax ferries. The inspection was conducted during turnaround in port, thereby not affecting the vessel’s operating schedule.

 

The inspection was conducted as part of the regular condition monitoring routine, with the objective to optimize the lifespan of the equipment, without sacrificing efficiency or reliability.
